I'm a recent PhD in Sociocultural Anthropology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My dissertation focuses on two generations of indigenous market women in Cochabamba, Bolivia. I explore local ways these women imagine, embody and practice the market and how they negotiate their insertion into the global economy.
