About
I am a Ph.D. candidate in the department of economics. My research fields are labor economics, applied econometrics and development economics. My research focuses on economic impacts of information communication technologies, Internet economy, and Internet job search and matching. My doctoral thesis is on the adoption and use patterns of the Internet and information communication technologies, and how they affect labor market outcomes and regional development in the United States and the emerging market of Turkey. I am also interested in technology-enabled micro-finance and e-government.
